The All-New iCAUR V23 Debuts in Singapore
Vertex Automobile Pte. Ltd., the sole authorised distributor of Omoda Jaecoo and iCAUR in Singapore, has officially launched the iCAUR V23, marking the local debut of iCAUR - the newest new energy vehicle (NEV) brand under Chery Group in Singapore.
Demand for the V23 has already outpaced supply ahead of its official launch, with over 100 units sold before the official launch.
A New Name, Backed by Two Decades of Trust
Vertex Automobile's relationship with Chery spans over twenty years, a partnership built on close, direct engagement between the two companies. Chery has been the largest vehicle exporter in China for 23 consecutive years, with a portfolio spanning multiple brands including Chery, Omoda Jaecoo, and now, iCAUR.
"Our relationship with Chery isn't one we manage from a distance," said Ms Sng Khai Hing, Executive Director of Vertex Automobile.

Award-Winning Design, Class-Leading Safety
The V23 is the winner of the Red Dot Design Concept Award 2026, one of the most prestigious design honours in the world. The award recognises the V23's distinctive design language: a nearly 1:1 width-to-height ratio for visually balanced proportions, a boxy silhouette with crisp, confident surfaces, and details like round LED headlights, exposed wipers, and a functional interior-access backpack built into the rear design.
Since its launch, the V23 has also ranked first in the New Energy Boxy SUV segment across Southeast Asia, and topped the midsize all-electric SUV segment in the 2026 China New Energy Vehicle Product Appeal Index Study by J.D. Power.
That distinctiveness carries through to the details. The V23 offers a wide range of options, with seven exterior colours - Lava Orange, Carbon Grey, Spectre White, Astral Purple, Ranger Green, Mercury Silver, and Enigma Black - alongside three interior colours in Black, White, and Green, giving owners a wide range of ways to make the car their own from day one.
On safety, the V23 is the first boxy EV globally to achieve a 5-star ASEAN NCAP rating.
This is backed by a high-rigidity body structure, 6 airbags, a 540° HD panoramic camera, and a comprehensive suite of Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS), including Autonomous Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Prevention, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert - technology designed to work quietly in the background on every drive, regardless of terrain or condition.
Built to Be Co-Created
Central to iCAUR's brand philosophy is co-creation; the belief that a car should be a starting point for personal expression, not a finished product. The V23 is designed with 24 interchangeable exterior panels, allowing owners to reshape the car's look to suit their own style.

Charging Made More Affordable
Vertex Automobile also confirmed that its existing partnership with Charge+, in place since the start of 2026, now extends to iCAUR V23 owners, offering up to 40% off charging at Charge+ chargers across Singapore.
